It is notified for the information of all concerned that in I.A. No.25 in WP(C) No.443/1992 filed by CBSE, the Hon`ble Supreme Court of India passed the following order on 21.6.2006.
"The C.B.S.E. has to prepare a revised merit list and publish it on the web site as well as in the newspapers by tomorrow i.e. 22.06.2006. The students and the concerned colleges will have to be intimated on the web site as well as in the newspapers and through other media that the counseling which has already been done is cancelled and fresh counseling will start from Monday, i.e. 26.06.2006 and the students will have to come and collect their revised merit numbers from the C.B.S.E. before counseling.
If for any reason the counseling could not be done within the time stipulated already, the time may be extended by one week from that date. I.A. for direction is disposed of accordingly".
Accordingly, the revised Merit List/Waitlist of AIPMT, 2006 for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses against 15% All India Quota exclusively on Merit has been prepared and posted on our Website www.cbse.gov.in. Candidates concerned can access the website to know their status. It is further notified that the counseling, which has already been conducted is cancelled and the candidates who are in the revised Merit / Wait list have to participate in the counseling again for allotment of seats in Medical Colleges as per the revised schedule given hereunder. The other guidelines/instructions for counseling remain the same as are given in the Information Bulletin and the Application Form of AIPMT, 2006. The schedule for the 2nd round of counseling for allotment of seat by personal appearance will remain unchanged.

Accordingly, fresh Rank letters are being dispatched to the successful candidates by the CBSE, which they have to produce before the DGHS authorities on the date of counseling. Those who do not receive the Rank letters sent by the CBSE by Speed Post / Courier may collect Rank letter from AIPMT unit of CBSE office, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi – 110092.
